How To Play: Beginners Guide

  1. Create an account! In order to play Flight Derby, you must first create your account. Creating an account allows you to track your wagers and your progress.

  2. Visit the Race List! The Race List is a list of all the Races currently running on Flight Derby.

  3. Choose a Race by selecting Place Bets! Only races whose betting window is still open (a race that is still accepting bets) will allow you to place a wager.Race Line

  4. Look at the Wagers Overview and Race Lineup!
The Wagers Overview shows how many coins are in which pot. (Win, Place and Show are separate "pots”. A "Pot” is the total amount of coins available to win.)

The Race Lineup is a snapshot of the flights in the race and what their WIN payout is. (See Win, Place, and Show Betting) A Payout is the odds or the ROI (Return On Investment) of your wager. For example; using the table below, if we placed a WIN bet on Flight 1, the Payout is 7-1. If Flight 1 wins the race, we would earn 70 coins.

  5. Examine the individual Flight Details. Each Flight will list Departure and Arrival Times as well as its Flight Status and Wager Listings. The Wager Listing shows how many Coins have been bet by how many Users. Additional Flight Information can be found by selecting "Details” or "History”.

  6. Place Your Bet! After reviewing the flight data, use your research and your new found knowledge to predict the winner of the race.

  7. After Placing Your Bet, Your Wager Details can be found under the Wagers Overview. Select "Details” to view your wagers.

Additionally, a record of your current races and amount wagered can be found in your Current Wagers Snapshot.

Selecting/Clicking On your current wagers will take you to your account home screen and provide you a detailed view of your current wagers, amounts and races.

    Betting: Regular vs Mini Game

    Regular Game

In our Regular Game, you may wager as many coins as you like on any wager you like, as often as you like – up to the amount of coins you have on hand. Your Coin Total can be found at the top of the screen.

Note: some games will have a minimum and maximum wager.

    Mini Game

In the Mini Game, wagers are fixed to a specific amount and you MUST bet on all three Betting Types. (Win, Place and Show.) Additionally, Mini Games only allow ONE wager – one for each type. Depending on the Game Code, Coins may be free for betting. (The amount bet is awarded at time of play.)
